A rare wildlife sighting surprised visitors in Uttarakhand’s forest area. On March 2, 2026, people spotted a very unusual albino monkey in the Phato Tourism Zone. While undertaking a routine jungle safari in the Phato Tourism Zone of the Jim Corbett National Park forest, Mohit Sharma spotted an unusual creature in the trees.

First of all, the creature looked different from the other monkeys that normally inhabit this particular forest zone. Its bright white color immediately caught his attention, as most monkeys in this particular zone normally have brown or grey-colored fur. Realizing the monkey was rare, he immediately recorded videos and took pictures carefully. Such photographs & videos later proved to be useful documentation of the sighting.
