1. Independent Agency Status

Jungle Safari India (operating via jimcorbett.in) is a private, independent travel agency. We are not the official website of Corbett Tiger Reserve or the Uttarakhand Forest Department. By using our services, you acknowledge that you are engaging a third-party travel facilitator to assist with safari bookings and related travel arrangements.

2. Nature of Our Services

We act as an intermediary between the traveler and various service providers (The Forest Department, transport owners, and hotels). Our services include:

• Permit Facilitation: Assisting with safari permit requests through official or applicable booking channels, subject to Forest Department rules, availability and approval.
• Logistics Coordination: Arranging registered vehicles (Jeeps/Canters) and mandatory forest guides.
• Accommodations: Facilitating stays in Forest Rest Houses or private resorts.

3. Client Responsibilities

To ensure a successful booking, the client must:

• Provide Valid ID: Supply clear copies of Government-approved IDs (Aadhaar, Voter ID, Passport, etc.).
• Accuracy: Ensure all names and ages match the ID proofs exactly, as the Forest Department does not allow modifications once a permit is issued.
• Compliance: Abide by all rules, timings, and safety protocols established by the Jim Corbett National Park authorities.

4. Transparent Fee Structure

Our pricing is designed to be fully transparent. The total amount charged to the client consists of:

• Official / applicable charges: Permit, entry, guide, vehicle or other charges may be collected as applicable and are subject to Forest Department rules, availability and current fee structure.
• Service & Facilitation Fee: An itemized fee for our agency’s professional services, including booking management, document verification, and on-ground coordination support during the travel process

5. Availability & Refund Guarantee

Safari slots are managed by the Forest Department and are subject to real-time availability.

• Refund in case of non-availability: If we are unable to process your requested permit due to lack of availability on the official system, the applicable paid amount will be refunded as per policy.
• Non-Transferability: Once issued by the government, safari permits are non-refundable and non-transferable as per Forest Department regulations.

6. Wildlife Sightings

While we coordinate with registered drivers and assigned forest guides as per applicable rules to maximize your experience, wildlife sightings (including tigers) are subject to nature and are not guaranteed.
