Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to jimcorbett.in operated by travel agency Jungle Safari India (“we,” “us,” “our”). By using our website and booking any service through us — including jungle safaris, accommodation, or related packages — you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your booking.

2. Scope of Services

  • We provide assistance in arranging bookings for jungle safaris and related services (hotel/resort stay, transfers, etc.).
  • We do not issue, sell, or resell official jungle-safari entry tickets/permits.
  • All bookings and arrangements are mediated through our agency; actual safari permits, entry permissions, jeep/canter allocation, and forest permits are subject to approval by the relevant forest authorities.

3. Booking & Payment

  • A booking is confirmed only after we receive the required deposit or payment as per our invoice.
  • You must supply accurate and complete information at the time of booking — including names, age, valid ID proof, contact details, number of guests, travel dates, etc.
  • Payment methods accepted will be clearly indicated (for example: bank transfer, UPI, online payment gateway, etc.).
  • All prices are indicative and subject to change at the discretion of hotels, forest authorities, government fees, or seasonal surcharges.

4. Changes, Cancellation & Refunds

  • Once confirmed, safari bookings — including slot time, date, and names — cannot be changed.
  • In case you request cancellation, the applicable refund (if any) depends on the cancellation policy communicated at the time of booking.
  • If the forest authorities cancel or postpone the safari due to weather, official orders, park closures or other unforeseen circumstances, we are not liable for refund or compensation beyond what the authorities permit.
  • Any changes in government fees (permit fees, taxes, levies) or hotel charges after booking will be communicated to you; additional charges may apply, payable before the service.

5. Identification & Permissions

  • All participants must carry valid government-approved photo ID (for example: Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID, PAN, or as required by forest authorities) at the time of safari entry.
  • For foreign nationals: valid passport (and visa if required) is mandatory.
  • Entry to the park/safari zones is subject to approval by forest authorities and allocation of government-authorized vehicles only.

6. Safari & Conduct Rules

  • Safaris will be conducted under the rules and regulations of the forest department.
  • Guests must follow all instructions given by the guide, driver, or forest staff. This includes, but is not limited to: maintaining silence, not littering, not disturbing wildlife, no loud music or shouting, no fire or smoking inside the forest, etc.
  • Children, elderly, or guests with health issues — please acquaint yourself with fitness requirements. Travelers must notify us of any health conditions in advance.

7. Liability & Risk Acknowledgement

  • By booking with us, you acknowledge that participation in a jungle safari involves inherent risks — including, but not limited to, injury, accident, natural hazards, or wildlife encounters.
  • We are not responsible for any theft, loss, damage to personal belongings, injury, accident, or death during the safari or travel.
  • All participants undertake the safari at their own risk. It is recommended (but not mandatory on our part) to have personal travel or health insurance.

8. Changes to Itinerary or Services

  • We reserve the right to modify or adjust the itinerary, accommodation, safari slot, transport, or any part of the package, if required due to availability, forest authority instructions, weather or force-majeure events.
  • In such cases, we will attempt to inform you at the earliest, and offer alternate arrangements or refund as per policy.

9. Guest Conduct & Disqualifications

  • We expect all participants to behave responsibly, respect wildlife, fellow guests, and staff.
  • Any abusive, reckless, or irresponsible behavior may result in removal from safari/ tour without refund.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel bookings at our discretion, especially in case of misrepresentation, invalid documents, or safety concerns.

10. Acceptance of Terms

  • By making a booking or paying any amount toward a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accept these Terms & Conditions on behalf of all persons in your booking.
  • These terms may be updated from time to time. The version in effect at the time of booking will apply.

11. Jurisdiction & Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or related to these terms, booking, or services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Delhi.
